By Leigh Poland RHIA, CCS, CDIP and Hemamalini Alex

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issues an annual Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) final rule detailing the confirmed changes to Medicare coding and billing paid under the Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) payment system as well as changes to associated quality reporting programs. Additionally, there are policies in the 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) final rule that impact outpatient hospital billing and reimbursement.

During this webinar, we’ll analyze the key requirements of the 2024 OPPS and MPFS final rule and identify the significant changes for the coming year.
